Jurassic Park 4 announces director

Colin Trevorrow has  officially been announced as the director for the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise. Trevorrow’s work includes directing the critically acclaimed Safety Not Guaranteed, an indie comedy drama film released last year.

  1. Colin Trevorrow does good work, but is Jurassic Park really a right fit for him? The movie is big and indie Directors are notorious for destroying big franchise films

    • It’s a difficult one to say, because, after all some Indie directors have directed some of the best blockbusters ever made. Take a look at Bryan Singer with X-Men and Christopher Nolan with Batman. Colin is, yes, slightly lesser-known than these two ever were, but who knows – he could pull something out the bag and create a wonderful experience.

      Steven Spielberg must’ve had reason in choosing him. Who knows! Thanks for the comment!
